Questo CD contiene l'opera sinfonica del musicista inglese Brian Elias composta per grande orchestra, mezzosoprano e piccolo coro, ispirata ai alcuni lamenti funebri grichi contenuti nel mio libro Canti di pianto e d'amore dall'antico Salento (Bompiani, Milano 1994/2001).
